Title: Removing the side panels and rear light assembly

Hi,

Anyone can advise on how to remove the side panels and rear light assembly for downtown?

Elmer Fudd says, "Vewy,vewy carefuwwy!" Check the thread started by doxbike about removing panels on the People GTi300. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE PANELS BELOW 70 DEG F!!! The tabs will break.

  there is one screw on the front of panel each side down low, 4 , clips , each side, use heat gun if not warm enough,  pop out the rear panel plug,  I used a wooden dowl, then you will see the bolts that hold the rear lights in place, pull the whole thing out a little and un plug the lights and it is off???   I use a putty knife with corners ground off, no sharp corners to scratch the paint,  to remove the clips, vivo uses a plastic putty knife to do the same,. might be better,.

Thanks guys, I wondered if there is a youtube video on this. I don't seem to be able to find it.
