In process of taking my scoot apart and replacing some parts but having a hard time removing reed valve. It is stuck. I already broke one of the 4 loops where the screws go. Is there a trick to it? Heating it, some kind of technique? Any help would be appreciated. Also, if anyone is selling a stock exhaust for People 50, I'm interested. Have a Technigas pipe on mine but need stock since I got a new stock carb and don't feel like messing around with jetting. Thanks.

There may be a gasket sealer holding things tight. I will often use a SHARP putty knife to remove stubborn parts. Just take care not to damage the aluminum
