Title: throttle turn amount
Post by: Triesandluth on December 03, 2014, 06:42:59 AM
Just curious,  how much turn do you get from your throttle?  I barely have anything between nothing and wide open.  The adjuster at the bars is set to have little to no play. Is there a way to adjust it at the carb? Or is that just how it sits,  ready for action?

I think I have about 30 degrees of throttle on my 300i downtown,. on the clock that would be from 12  oclock to 2:30  oclock,.

There is an adjuster at the carb end due to the splitter that runs to the oil pump. Pull back the rubber boot at the cables end over the carb.

30 degrees sounds about right...

Yeah,  I've got that. About thirty degrees. I'm still stuck on comparing my kymco to my Taotao crapper, haha.  The questioning of it did inspire me to remove the cable from the slide at the carb,  which revealed a nice amount of grit and grime.
