Title: Trunk Not Staying Open

Since it got cold the plastic straps in my trunk that keep the trunk lid from opening so far that it damages the hinges wont flex enough to let the trunk stay open. I guess one point for nylon straps instead.

I had some nylon string, made a piece 1 " longer than the strap, and it is much better, the lid stays up,.
