Title: Like 50 2t not starting

Hello all

I read the threads here on starting problems. My Like 50 2t sat for a while and now I can't get it started. I replace battery, spark plug and cleaned the carb. Do I need to empty the fuel tank with old gas and replace the fuel strainer too? if so, how do I get the fuel out?  I looked and can't find a "how to" on that.
