To my drivers and driver/riders. I need your opinion on this moto vlog. Part of me wants to find a way to present it to city council or something. What is your opinion on this topic? Positive and negative comments welcome.

I've also thought about this a lot while driving/parking in the city. The only place I've seen a useable amount of motorcycle parking is San Francisco. Not sure there is much or cities can do right now for (in their eyes) a fringe population. Money is allocated to "more useful" city projects. I've always felt a way to incentivize un clogging city congestion by riding scooters/motorcycles would be to provide free parking to people working down town and discounted rates for people visiting.

The first real motorcycle was invented in 1885, and they have not bothered with this yet, I'm not going to hold my breath. Go to Asia and you see dedicated bike parking, but, in many Asian countries the scooter/motorcycle is the family vehicle. Here in the states, bikes (whether they are a motorcycle, or a scooter) are considered a novelty.
It sucks, but, unless there is a VAST migration of people from cars to bikes, it is the way it is going to be.

I think there's hope in densely populated areas, and in private shopping centers. If motorcycle & scooter clubs get together and sign petitions that have lots of names, that should carry some clout. I would focus on the benefit to car drivers (no more hogging up an entire parking spot). Maybe also mention how motorists damage motorbikes (i've had scooters knocked over countless times, and usually it's not intentional). Maybe sweeten the deal by making motorbike spots valid only during non-winter months, and by keeping the meter rates comparable to cars, so the city doesn't lose money if the spots are often empty.
We're spoiled here in San Francisco, where there's a good amount of motorcycle parking, and it's only 40 cents an hour, versus $2+ an hour for regular spots. It was a gradual process getting improvements made. Things like this take constant pressure, constant advocacy.

You mean the Daimler Reitwagen prototype? It never went into use.
But the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hildebrand_%26_Wolfm%C3%BCller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hildebrand_%26_Wolfm%C3%BCller) did!
Go to Asia and you see dedicated bike parking,
Europe too (Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, ...).
Usually there is dedicated (and free) parking for bicycles at the entrance (of the city hall etc.), next to them for motorcycles (still free) and further (with charge) for cars.
Is somehow the government doesn't want to hear the motorcyclists, the motorcyclists should join together on an important shopping day (i.e. Christmas market) and occupy all the car parking lots.
At least the government will hear the ululation of the businessmen!

I actually had to request parking at work. It was denied. So the 7 or 8 bikers started taking the space right in front of the building. We got our space.
