Forza folks have been tracking this issue for weeks. Seems confined to scoots made 10/2013, with ABS. Good to see Honda jump on this across the globe.
Popped up in Europe first. Italy I think. Then Canada, then St Louis ¿ Honda will contact affected owners. The new pump has been listed for some time from parts houses.
Another good reason to follow your brand forum.

The new Grom has the same recall going on.

"REIMBURSEMENT FOR PRE-NOTIFICATION REPAIRS WILL NOT BE OFFERED." Way to step up to the plate Honda.

Any other fuel pumps which have already been replaced due to failure of the pump have been
covered under the HONDA warranty....and replaced at no cost to the owner.
If an owner jumped the gun and replaced a working fuel pump....Honda is not covering those replacements....probably because not all Forzas have faulty fuel pumps. Only a handful of owners know with any certainty which scoots are affected. HONDA now knows as well, and owners are being contacted.
It's not a good situation....but most of us are OK with the way Honda responded.
