Title: Exhaust Question.
Post by: agilebda on October 28, 2014, 03:02:39 PM
Hello guys. I am inerested in purchasing a Zard Exhaust for my scoot. I am trying to find out which version is less noisy in db. I have a choice in the race version or the homogolated kat version.
Can someone enlighten me on the difference between the two? Please see link below:

I do not know the brand, but just out of common sense the race version will be definitely MUCH louder than the homogolated KAT version.  You may even get fined by Police if they catch you that you put the race version on. But contact the manufacturer and see what dB rating the race and KAT version have...  let us know what you found out.

Did you check what they bring individually on HP on a graph compared to the OEM KYMCO exhaust?

The non-cat pipe will put the scoot out of compliance in mant parts of the world.

Scroll down their page to the "ask a Question" link.

I think the replies here have answered it though.
