I have a question, the wire that gets cut on the box inside the agility 50cc moped...can that affect the moped from starting at all? I cant think of what the wire is called but its on this black box and it makes the moped go a bit faster, thank you. Also please let me know how it can or cannot affect the moped from starting. I purchased a brand new agility moped, 50cc for my son and we've had trouble with it starting since day one, they fixed it and we brought it in a second time as well because it kept having trouble starting. My son cut the wire and the moped went faster and also still had trouble starting, but it had trouble starting from day one of ownership, before and after cutting the wire, if someone will please explain if it has anything to do with cutting the wire, I don't think it would cause it as it was doing this before he cut it anyways, thank you for you time.

It has no effect on starting unless you cut WAY too far. Then the CDI is toast.
Welcome to the forum by the way...
Has anyone checked the auto choke or the idle mixture screw setting?
'Replaced the air or fuel filters? Spark Plug?
Checked the fuel/float bowl for water?
Has the bike sat for an extended period ie: bad fuel?
New bike / old bike? 2014 or 13, 12 but still new...
Miles on it?
What cha werein' ;)

Please dont tell us what you are werein lol welcom to the fourm.go threw and make sure the wireing is ok on the coil and the stator.and other conextions.
