I think I blew the fuse to the glovebox charger, since it's not working and there are no other electrical issues. I heard that its inside the front cowl. Does anyone have instructions/pix of how to change it out and probably upgrade.

Never had to, you can possibly pop the 12v socket out and get it. While your in there replace it with a slightly higher amp fuse.

I would guess you have to remove the Cowl asI did on my DT 300 .
I put a (Radio Shack ) 3 amp fuse in. The fuse is a SHORT (and NOT a Blade 0 fuse . I think Radio Shack is the only place to find them.
The .08 is pretty much useless if you want to use the outlet. I can run my GPS without worrying about blowing fuse , now .

Somebody on this forum put a fuse holder in near the receptacle on his DT300i which makes great sense. He even had a picture of the result.
And yes, the front cowl has to come off to get at that fuse. I remember seeing it when I put the 'Wolo' horn on my wife's scoot. I don't recall noticing if you can remove the socket from inside the glove box.

they are called dash mounted fuse holder I picked mine up at a elec. supply shop,. drill hole and install ,. and then you can change fuse any time I put mine about 1 inch from plug, front or back of plug OK.
