Title: kymco cobra blinkers/electric start not working (new to scooters)

I just got my first scooter today, a 50cc 2 stoke kymco cobra and the electric start and blinkers don't work. Didn't have any time to start taking it apart before it got dark so hopefully I'll have time after work tomorrow. Could it be a fuse? Do scooters even have fuses? It would make sense (in my mind) because the hi/low beams works, tail/brake lights works, dash lights working, everything except the blinkers and electric start. What components should I check? Any help is appreciated.
