a pet peeve of mine.
I like pretty butts just like the next guy but, a pretty butt will not sell me a scooter or motorcycle.
Most all scooter and motorcycle commercials are dumb.
A video of someone riding down the road or a naked butt. No important information about the scoot. No details or specs.
What about specs., performance and value?.

That's MARKETING, boo. MARKETING is lying like a rug to get you to buy the "product!" This kind of marketing is aimed at dim-wits that think,"If I get one of those, I will get bunches of THOSE dripping of'n me!" We ain't that gullible. WE know it takes a lot more MONEY than one scooter! We obsessive-compulsive anal exacting types will find the details somewhere before we buy knowing full well how deceiving even the facts can be since the marketing pukes will jimmy the numbers to make everything look better. For example, Yager 200i is 173 cc, Like 200i is 163 cc and so on. Still both great scoots but they ain't 200 cc or any where close. I MADE SURE the DT300i was very close to 300 cc before I bought it having learned on the Yager. It boils down to the fact we should look at the pictures that Stig and others come up with and don't change a thing about getting the facts. That's why we love ya, boo!

Boy, trying to make you guys smile is a tough sell!
And FYI...I bought my LIKE because that little Italian guy looked so good going thru the olive grove with all those chickens along side the road. He made that scoot look huge and sexy and a little garlic-y.
I love garlic and chickens and olives!

Putting aside the cute bums for a moment. :o
I have to say I thought it was fun. The commercial tried to capture the energy and fun of youth. I thought it did that rather well.

Yep. I sat back and thought to myself: I was young and goofy like that once.
Now I'm a AARP rider. Beats the alternative!

Check out the Mexico Honda site if you want to see the USA is being short changed on scooter offering.
2 different 110s, one 100, and a 125.

It's a matter of marketing. Companies like Honda just don't see the US market as being accepting of scooters yet. I think that is changing but it's a slow process.
