I was coming home from work the other morning about 7:45am and was wondering why the trafic was pretty backed up. I finally worked my way up and found out that a guy riding a 50cc Tao Tao was not going anywhere near fast enough for the flow of trafic. People were not happy with him either. He was doing about 35mph when the trafic normally flows around 50 or 55.
Lots of honks and people not happy. He didn't seem to notice, he just kept riding along. Hope he doesn't get hit by anyone.

What was the speed limit for that road ?

It was 45. People speed a great deal here in Phoenix. Think LA just smaller.

Time for him to pull over if pulling over is safe. Sometimes there is no safe place to pull over and I'll keep going but I'll get to o the side ASAP. But I also try to avoid roads over 40 MPH unless they have a wide pedestrian strip.

This is the inherent problem with 50cc scooters.
They have a tendency to end up where they cause problems.

On my old 50 i used to pull off the road when traffic got backed up behind me. 50cc scoots are dangerous as far as unintended road rage is concerned. I even had a soccer mom honk and flip me off for doing 30 in a 35 on my 50.

Yah a 50cc bike is a tough ride here in Phoenix. Everyone speeds here. Most roads are 45 and people usually go anywhere from 50 to 70 on them. I keep finding myself doing 65 on my GT. Gotta back that thing off a bit.

50cc scooters arent the problem, its the idiots who drive em. 50cc's are great for neighborhood streets and side roads. Lol, is this smart alicky, if so, lmao ;D
