I recently aquired a people 50 2t from an auction. I cannot get a spark. The motor has good compression, ive changed the ignition coil, but i cannot find the problem. What could it be?

If you changed cool already, second suspect is the CDI, located in the horn cover. Easy to replace. Possibility is the spark pick up on the stator flywheel. It tells the cdi when to spark. There is a resistance check for the pickup, if it is within spec it's your CDI (which I would very on).
