I actually went to Husson College for a semester and had coffee with him one time.  I was walking by his house, and took pictures of the fence and gate, and some guy in coveralls came out, got to talking to me and it wasn't until we were halfway done the coffee that I realized who he was.  He did get a good laugh about it.

He is a very unassuming man/philanthropist . Had a few good, yet , strange conversations with him when I was putting 14 gauge needles in his arm ( I was working at American Red Cross Blood Services as a phlebotomist ) . Almost a childish sense of humor for such and intelligent person .

That is one cool looking scooter!
You folks in the scooter moving business?
You have enough storage space on that scoot to run an orphanage.
House looks spooky.
He's a big Red Sox fan. So, is this in Mass.?
(I lived in Amherst for 2 yrs)

Not in moving business... camping and traveling 80+ miles to see aging parent .Tunnel bag carries gloves, hat,GPS (when not on Ram Mount,registration/inspection items,first-aid kit, etc.  Scoot-R-Logic saddlebags are coolers, as well . Great for waterbottles, grocery items , etc.  Holds a six pack per side when camping  ;)

Fence on house is custom made...drunk ran into it two years ago and had to go for repairs .House is huge!

He and Tabitha live in Bangor,Maine ( Winter in Florida) .
I teased him about Red Sox ( before they broke the Babe Ruth curse ). Sox suck this year  ;D ;D ;D  My Tigers are doing great, however  8)

They do tours around the city , every year, to see sites that are written about in his books/stories .
