hi ive just bought a 2006 13000 mile xciting 500 the question is does this model require regular oil top ups as I seem to be topping mine up every 2/3 weeks although there is no smoke from the exhaust or any dripping oil on the floor to suggest there is a issue.

My X500 not much (approaching 50000km), perhaps i top 1-200ml before i go on a long trip once or twice during a 5000km change interval.
