I've tracked my scooter mileage in excel from day one. The other day I was noticing once again those little fuelly.com signature lines under some of you guys posts. I decided to signup and went back and plugged in all of my fillups. Feully.com shows me some stuff that just tracking by myself didn't allow (like seeing what other Super 150 owners are getting for mileage). Of course it relies on people being honest but so does most things in life. At every fillup I used to write the odometer reading on my gas receipt, then take it home and plug it into the excel file. This morning I used the iOS app that you can download and low and behold it pushed that data on the fillup right to my account and updated my stats.
If you religiously keep track of your scooter mileage then you should give fuelly.com a look if you don't use it already. It can also be used as a research tool when looking at new vehicles (look up real world mileage).
I figured out this morning that over the 2000 miles I've driven on my Super8, I've saved $132.00 in gas (~ $26 per month) versus driving my car that same amount. Fuelly.com helped me figure that out.

Good timing on that post. I signed up last week and have one fuel up so far. My milage was on the low side compared to other but that whole tank I rode fast everywhere, sped constantly, and use the highway twice a day. That first tank i did about 59 mpg on my People 300gti. Now I'm going for the high score. New oil and filter plus the last tank had injector cleaner in it. I'm sticking stricktly to the speed limit and that is hard. In KC everyone does at least 5 over.

You dont need to register, to browse the database.
You can enter many kind of energy sources like CNG, LPG, E85, electricity etc.
Surprisingly the German database is much bigger.
Perhaps it's because energy consumption/costs doesn't really matter in US!? ;)

I'm surprised your only getting in the low 60's. I would have thought that be higher than that. I average about 52 miles per gallon on my 500. Of course most of that is highway miles and I'm sure that helps.

I also get around 62MPG on my dt300i. That is mostly two up city with premium unleaded fuel.
Wonder if it will change for the better when I switch to iridium plug. Have to check the air filter as well...

I've been doing some experimenting with the last couple tanks. Most of my riding is at the top end of the throttle. I've been taking a less travelled way to work and going 5-10MPH slower. That added another 5-8MPG. Filled up Saturday and it calculated to 71MPG. Seems like if you are not in a hurry and aren't holding up traffic, if you go slower you'll definitely see better MPG's.

If I drive my 300GTI normally, I'm getting between 68 and 70 MPG. Only mod is 14GR sliders.

Ok my high score run netted me a 68 mpg. I am suprised at how my lead hand effected my mpg. Keep in mine on my 59 mpg tank i was doing 80 plus mph on the highway twice a day and speeding by ten mph in the city and basically racing everywhere.
