Title: 250 mission

Lightning watching mission to Larch Mtn. Oregon. The parking lot is 4000ft and the top of the mtn is 4500', we were there for no more than 5 minutes when my hair started to stand on end, time to leave.

I'm like a lightning magnate.  I've been in three vehicles that have been hit (two tractor trailers and one Sprinter van), and had lightning hit a metal umbrella 15 feet from me once, threw me about 8 feet and couldn't hear for a week.  I'm so stupid that I probably would have stayed.

I respect a fella that knows what is going on in his life, and acts accordingly.
I would have stayed w/ you. They would find a pile of toasted beer cans, and two deaf idiots wondering around in scorched clothes.
