Title: valve clearence?

anyone know the correct valve clearance for a 2013 agility 125cc?

Try a search...I have seen it posted at .oo4" for both valves.
Maybe phone your dealer to double check?
I don't have the service manual for your scooter...so, get it from someone who does, please.

While the official Kymco valve clearance value is 0.10mm (0.004inch) for most of the Kymco´s if not all, the real pro´s adjust the valves to 0.12mm (0.0047inch) in cold engine condition and correctly done. That gives a bit more engine safety and highly probable longer check intervalls. But you might - not must - hear a little ticking noise then from the valves while running. But that would be ok. So in case of doubt, you are better off longterm with the litte bit higher value.

At least my Like will get the 0.12mm.  ;)

I wouldn't go larger than spec. The spec is .1mm for engine safety, your can go tighter without damage. Anything loser will tick tick tick, a personal pet peeve of mine is hearing my four stroke tick. On my 250 I go .08mm in .1mm ex

.1mm, and it's easy to do.  It's the thickness of the metal in a pop-can.  The sides are always .1mm, and you can find pop-cans everywhere.

I have from day one set the lash to "0.0" on a HOT engine. When you check that cold the readings are all over the place, and never the same on any engine. One valve will read .003" the other .001. A different engine might read ..002", and .005".
I also have a peeve for ticking valves, and the only way I could ever solve it was "0.0" hot. Just set the adjuster to touch the stem, and lock it down. What this whole deal proves out is these are simple , roughly built engines, and the "spec" is a safety margin, and nothing more.

Try it yourself. The bike most likely will have never run better.
