Title: Ouch.....
Post by: gnvernon on July 08, 2014, 04:02:42 PM
I am 6'3" so I usually sit on the passenger seat while riding. I came to a stop and put my left leg down. I was idling for ~45 seconds at the red light before I took off. When I accelerated, hot oil sprayed out of the left side of my scoot and burned my leg. Any Ideas where this is coming from? Thank you.

Oil leak in the injector hose from oil res to engine ? Or crankcase oil tube sitting side ways instead of point down ?

There is no hot oil in, on, or near your bike.
Maybe you got stung by a bee or snake bit? Maybe one of those subterranean cannibalistic humanoids took a swipe at you from a storm drain? Perhaps one of Obama's drones took a laser shot at you?
Those would be the most common things that would cause that.
There are a couple dozen less common possibilities like Land Shark bites or an attempted but aborted alien abduction but we need more info.

Did it back fire? Did you fire back?
