Title: Safe to use piston stops ?

I'll probably see about getting an impact wrench today, I read some people uses devices to stop the piston (commercial piston stops, a bolt with proper threads and rope etc) for on the road belt replacements; are these safe to use ? What would you recommend to take along to replace a belt out on the road ?

Would this tool work on the 2013 Super 8? It looks less damaging as I hate the thought of a chip or indentation on the top of the piston.

Actually this is the proper tool, I emailed Racingplanet and asked them if I can add it to my order that hasnt shipped yet.

You dont need any of that crap. You CAN simply hold the Var or clutch bell.

For on the roar repair w/ simple hand tools a short piece of 5/16" rope in the plug hole does the trick every time.
