Title: Starting People 150 question

When I pull my right handbrake in to start the scooter with the electric start, it won't start. It works with the left (rear brake) pulled in. What can cause this issue? I am waiting on a new brake light switch as the one in there now is faulty. Is this related?

Thanks. New switch installed, problems gone.
