Title: 258 Miles And Now will not start

Went to start my bike today and the red light would not light up and it would not start.
Any ideas what I should check first?

Does the rear brake light come on after turning on the key and squeezing the brake lever?
Is the KILL switch in the proper position to let the scoot start and run?
Do you hear the fuel pump activate for a few seconds after you turn the key on?
Please let us know ....also, is this your first scooter?

No, even though most of our owners manuals say they do. There is none down there.

I usually only use the key so it threw me.
Fortunately only issue was the flick of a switch.
