How well would a gravaty flow gas tank work on a gy6 50 7
-
No issue at all. That's what it is anyway.
You will want to get a manual petcock for sure. I've had a few tanks drain out over night from crap in the float needle.
-
Ok thats what I was thinking if I can do with with out the petcock maybe a turn off valve.
-
That is no problem for the bike at all.
Finding something to adapt the tank to a manual valve might be the tough part.

I was given a tank that will fit the scoot with a manuel petcock.will this tank help with any performance at all.or should I just dont fix whats not broken.
-
If you prefer the look of the other tank I say go for it. One advantage is the manual petcocks usually have an On/Off/Reserve feature that Kymco's don't have.
I have been keeping my eyes open for a cylindrical aluminium tank for my Frame 4t. I've run out of fuel a few times.

Your readying my mind.my gas cage dont work so this could be a good thing if I can get the low fuel light to work.

I might just hook it up as a second tank for those long rides.
