My Spring has been wet and therefore I've avoid many a day where it could have possibly rained. Perusing the YT I found this interesting vid. If you have any tips add them below.

If you don't have a washer/dryer... Stay home.
I walk in, and have all that wet crap off in three steps. 2-3 times a day in the monsoon season.
Oh yeah. Drive SLOW, and pull your T shirt over your face. Rain HURTS!

Don't avoid, get used to it!
Transparent precipitation is harmless (imho).
When in late summer the precipitation starts turning into white

Warm/wet snow (slush) is quite slippery. I prefer real winter:

TS1 - you are a real scooter nut job who warms my heart!
Yes, well....of course you have a lovely set of Heidenau K66 snow tires on that scoot don't you, you rascal!
Sadly my wife will no longer let me ride my scoot to work in the snow.
Nearby my Ohio, is a fellow who rides his Vespa with K66's in the Pennsylvania winter....see "scooter in the sticks" @ http://vespalx150.blogspot.com/ (http://vespalx150.blogspot.com/)
Please keep posting your winter/scooter pictures!
Regards from Ohio,

If you wear glasses be very cautious about heading out into a very, very heavy fog. Your face shield will mist over solidly and you cannot just lift the shield because your glasses will now do the same thing. All the shield 'wax' will not help much - because the drops are not big enough to gather & roll off, just a total misting over will happen - which is no problem for those who don't wear glasses. They just lift the shield a motor on, slowly.
This becomes a real adventure at night!
Stay put until the fog diminishes.

Love the Picts. TS
I kinda wish it would snow here once or twice a year.

Two things to put on your visor and wind screen. Fogtech and Raincoat. They keep your visor and wind screen clear of the rain and any fogging issues.
