Title: belt broke

Drive belt broke while out for long ride.good think I had a new one with me.

Good that you carry a spare.  How many miles were on the belt?

It was a used belt just never put the new one on yet.I also had to replace the clutch.the main spring was weak.I get better and faster top speed now.I can ride 45 to 48 mph all day.

Cool.  Breaking the belt is the only way to get 100% out of and keep a spare.  My clutch is still strong on my GV with 13K and looks like it will be good for maybe 25k?  I ride easy for the most part but fast on the highway 75+.

Last belt i got 11k out of, this one i am going to change at 10k and call it good.
