Custom rims/wheels?
I have the 2012 super 8 2t with the 14 inch wheels. Tires are slim pickings in stock size for rear tire so I was wanting to go a little wider which gives more options. Stock is 120 in width, 140 is easier foun. With that much difference I figure the rim should be up scaled as well. Or is shiming the rim safe?
I'm also looking to personalize her a bit.

These guys are GREAT! I had found a few others in Taiwan but I forget the sites.
If you use Surf Canyon, and learn How to use it... You will be amazed at what you can find. (it's a counter intuitive search engine that works better than Google) Key words there are" Counter intuitive."

I haven't personally tried the 140 rear but look at the gap between the shock and tire if there is a little space you should be able to squeeze that tire on. No need to go with larger wheels.

New wheels are just too sexy to not have them. It's the only thing I have not changed on my bike. Literally.
