Darn!! the key broke. I had it in the side of the seat, just brushed it with my leg and snap!!.
Anyplace in the states I can get a key blank or does anyone know if other key blanks may work should a hardware store not have Kymco blanks..

The key making machine where I work won't do the key for my Super 8. It says no blank exists.
When I bought it, it came with a small identification tab on the key ring with a serial number. You have to contact Kymco with that number to get replacement keys. If you don't have that number, you may have to talk to the dealer to see if they can help.
Unless you know someone who can make a custom key.

Key blanks are available from Kymco parts...then I think any key making machine can cut the blank.

The dealer said they can only order a blank from Kymco for $15 + shipping. I think I could do that myself.
Does anyone have a link to Kymco Parts of the key blank?
Thanks for the responses but this is kind a ridiculous not being able to get a key. May consider hot wiring with a disc brake lock.

Yep I have a spare and Im just exaggerating . I believe keys4urride.com has them. I'll be sending them a photo tomorrow. They will sell 2 blanks for $17.
Kimcomonster parts seems to not work well on either of my browsers, The models #'s in their pull down menus dont show a 2013 super 8.

TY for the alternate source. My dealer wasn't too helpful and was met with silence when I mentioned the code. I emailed Kymco and they couldn't help, I emailed them back and told them I dread have more serious issues in the future.
Lets make the forum a source for being independent when it comes to repair and getting back on the road. The dealer wanted $16 plus shipping to order me just one blank I would have to cut myself.

Yes, but also want to keep pushing business to the dealers and distributor - to keep them above water.
