Brakes on my LIKE sort of lurch me to a stop.
Removed the rear pads and found no glazing on them....but sanded them anyway. Green scrubb-ied the disc and reinstalled the pads after lubing things. I guess I could not see the glazing on the pads....because the rear brakes work very smoothly now! Like a new scooter! Today, will do the same to the fronts.
Scoot is over 2 yrs old- ridden pretty much year round in Ohio, in all kinds of weather. Green scrubby on the disc didn't help for long. Little room to do this w/o removing the pads (unless you have little baby spooky hands, like G.I.Joe)
Besides, things needed cleaning and lubing in there.

What are you lubing in the brake area? My understanding is that ALL oils should stay away from the braking system.

Picture 7 I think. The silicone grease encourages the caliper to 'float' on these pins. Pins fit into rubber boots...keeps dirt out, grease in.
