Title: 2007 Agility restoration
Post by: MN_Scoot on May 06, 2014, 05:45:07 AM
Pretty excited to have just finished my winter project in time for Spring. Thought I'd share:

started with this

pulled apart a few bits, painted them up, rebuilt the carb, adjusted the valves, changed all the fluids, filters, etc.

made some custom graphics

and now she's ready for Spring.

VERY, VERY NICE! ;D ;D

What paint did you use. It looks like a great job/finish from the Picts.
The front fender being painted really sets the look. Kudos to you!

Thanks. The panels that ended up white were the one thing I left to the professionals. I took them off and brought them to a local body shop. I read into doing it myself and for the amount of money, equipment and time needed to do it right, it was worth paying the pros.

You made the right choice. It's hard to compliment a rattle can job no matter how hard someone tries...

Especially if it is just flat black.  ;D  AH-Hem!
On the other hand you have to admire a guy that has access to EVERY COOL SCOOTER, and scooter part on the planet, and chooses to ride a Kymco painted flat black. That's the kind of guy that can speak Spanish in three different languages.                   V

70.00 paint, crabs in trees, and corn dogs made w/ real dogs.

What can I say?? Your'e right. I am jealous.  :-[  Getting everything backwards, and just plain stuffed up is the American way. BUT It depends on how you define the word, and not what every other person on the planet perceives it to be. (paraphrasing or beloved Bill Clinton)

Soooo call me "jealous, and I'll kindly ask you to pass the mustard.  ;D
