does anyone know how to replace the headlight?

Separate the headset halves and disconnect the speedocable and electric cables, you will then have access to the light

gardeb- Take a look at Stigs post in Like 200i section on Bleeding the Brakes. It shows the handle bar cover removal in detail with great pics ;)

Use my pictures of taking apart the handlebar covers, to get at the back of the headlight. NOTE you do not need to unhook any wires or cables....let things hang gently. Remove the wire to the bulb....and follow the last 4 pictures to replace the bulb.
If it is actually the whole headlight you need to remove- unhook the bulb wire and remove the 4 screws holding in the headlight.
