you know tireflys, those light up things you put on a valve stem, I think it would be a good idea on a scoot at night to be seen.
any one use them on their scoot?
asking b/c scoots have those 90 degree valve stems, would the extra spinning weight cause problems

they do that here . but you will get a ticket because it distracts other drivers.

Buy some LED strips on Ebay and attach them to your battery with a switch so you can turn them off when you aren't riding. Probably best to stay away from red or blue as that can upset the police in some areas. And no moving lights, say, on the wheels. Maybe just reflective rim tape.

I had them before... they got stolen... bought again... stolen again... didn't buy again...

for a few more bucks you can go full on TRON light cycle and get Lunasee wheel lights. I've been thinking about putting these on the Burgman. It's a light reactive pin stripping on your wheel and a stationery LED light mounted on each side. I think you can get a set up for under $150. http://www.lunasee.com (http://www.lunasee.com)

That lunasee thing is awesome! I'm SOOOOO tempted right now. I ride a lot at night, and that would look crazy on my Super8!
