Title: Electric Start Problem
Post by: kmpjones on April 07, 2014, 05:03:47 PM
Hello,
I have a 2009 People 150.

It has been stored for 5 months in a dehumidified basement with the battery on a tender. The battery tender shows 100% charge and the horn and brake lights work. I can kick-start it but the electric starter gives no reaction. No clicking; nothing. Unfortunately the owner's manual doesn't have anything helpful in the way of trouble shooting.

Any suggestions for the source of the problem, or how I could try to fix it?

(already checked kill switch and changed out ignition fuse)

thanks!

Pretty much need to test the relevant circuits with a multi-meter . . perhaps a rodent chewed through a wire.  Wiring diagram search (https://www.google.com/search?q=2009+People+150+wiring+diagram&hl=en&site=imghp&source=lnms&sa=X&ei=YeZCU5abGom9yAH-hoCgDg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAA&biw=1011&bih=503&dpr=1.9).
