I wana take a 12 inch rim off and put a 10 inch on the front but the axle is two dif sizes can this be done.with out takeing the front forks off.

Are the bearing outer race outside diameters the same size in both wheels?

No they are not. they are 2 dif sizes.

the reason is because I put a new motor in the scoot and its a short case that can only use 10 inch rim.So it would be nice to have a smaller front to match. Plus I might gain speed.

There are variations in bearing inside and outside sizes, outside standard metric sizes. A bearing house for industrial customers may be able to fit the hole in the smaller wheel and fit the two different sizes on the axle.

Ya I tried that and I would have to get 2 big spacer to do that. And to me that dont look to save.So ill go with save and keep what I have.
