Title: where can I buy a used xciting 500ri instrument panel

Hi

My xciting 500ri temp gauge has gone completely haywire.
I know it is not the sender unit-did some testing.
I also looked at the temp gauge,stripped the instrument cluster,soldered around the temp gauge, and made it worse.
It moves from the STOP to just above cold and stays there..
Before I messed around with it, it would not go all the way to the STOP when ignition off.

There must be accident damaged scoots around.

If anyone knows of an xciting 500ri being stripped, I would really like to know.
The exchange rate is 11:1 here in ZA, and so new is not going to be on thje horizon, unless I win the lottery.:)

Check around ebay. Type in xciting 500 parts and accessories. I have seen instrument clusters 4 sale in the past. :-*

I have a new one off a 2013 I will sell for 175.00 plus shipping. it does not have the plastic lens cover you will have to use the one you got (easy, 4 screws). Ke
ep in mind it will not keep your current mileage. It is showing .04 miles and that is what your Xciting will show when it is installed. They all work this way. It is new, in flawless condition.
