Title: First complaint!

  I bought my GTI300 last spring and had a great time riding it last summer and fall. I took the cover off her today to start getting ready for this riding season. I wanted to upgrade the taillight bulb to a LED. After taking the seat, met box, and luggage rack off, I still could not get to the bulb. I decided the amount of work was not worth it, so I put it back together. I'm very disappointed at how much effort it requires to change a simple light bulb. I hope the stock bulb never burns out.

Same here with my Super 8... I always pray that my bulbs wont get busted.. Lol!

It is better with the downtown I just removed the metin box, remove battery and I changed the bulbs,. It was a little tight for my large mits but I did it,.

Absolutely agree....!
I applaud the KYMCO guys for building a scooter tail light with no visible fasteners - VERY clever!
But I would much rather have 4 beautiful chrome screw heads looking at me back there!!
I've never owned a car where the engineers have NOT kept in mind : "Sure  we're building this $80K beauty in the Black Forrest -  but, some day, Bob in Kentucky is gonna want to replace this tail light bulb."
Geez....

I have a book called "Haynes service & repair Manual for Scooters". I bought it thinking it would show me things like changing bulbs etc. wish I'd looked at it before I bought it. Way too complicated for me. Now a days they engineer things so that you have to take them to a mechanic. Lets see... First remove all plastic body parts then the engine. Then while straddling the frame facing the rear reach in with your left hand and remove bulb. Please note this should not be attempted if you weigh over eighty pounds and have fingers less than 10 inches long.
