The Italian's really know how to style a scooter that's for sure. However, the support in the U.S. has been poor for service and parts, with long parts delays. There are also very few dealers here.
I had a new Aprilia Atlantic 500 which is the same as Piaggio and it was very advanced over the Jap scooters, twice as beautiful and ran well. I would say it was a little faster on the top end than my Xciting 500.

The Italians....goodness they make pretty scoots, ties, suits, dresses and cars.
This scooter looks like it is made of liquid! very, very pretty, I agree Sissy....
but I like to see a little more of the bits that make it go! So, being a big wheel lover - I've always liked the Beverly ! (but, Oh, what a name! "Climbing on pretty Bev every morning before work!!")

A few months ago, I drove 150 miles north to Kansas City, to Reno's Powersports to maybe buy a new Piaggio BV350. It was beautiful and a very advanced scooter but when I sat on it, the 'BOY's' were unsupportable! The seat which was small from the butt pad forward, also slanted down, so it forced a rider forward:( I really wanted that bike but not getting it led me to my Xciting 500!
