Title: KYMCO OEM parts $$$ On-Line
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on February 25, 2014, 07:29:08 PM
Snow on the roads again,
Rec'd an email from Stadium Yamaha about their big sale, purporting to beat the competition.....
So, looking at on-line prices of OEM Kymco parts for my LIKE 200i....not aftermarket prices of questionable parts. OEM Kymco parts which come in a KYMCO bag or box.
                     Stadium          Monster             Parts Outlaw

Drive Belt         $47.46              $42.29              $36.89
Clutch assy     $105.44             $93.96               $85.61
Rear Shock      $54.38               $48.46              $42.73

As always, it pays to look around. And yes, I did call the dealer for these parts prices - still waiting for the call back.

Parts Outlaw is the low-ball king for Kymco parts I guess. Just hope their shipping isn't too bad.

My report for the order from Parts Outlaw.
Order took 14 days to come - they substituted after market front brake pads for the KYMCO parts I ordered. Everything else was as ordered.
I will email them about this - as I want to stay with KYMCO parts in important areas , like brakes!

2 weeks is the usual delivery I've experienced.  Even if they do have some of the parts,  they'll wait for the whole order before shipping.   If I could order locally I would,  but the shipping is usually expensive and the State requires you pay sales tax too.

Whenever you order be spicific with the words, "Do not substitute parts unless approved by the purchaser first."

So is anyone faster than Parts Outlaw? I usually order from Racing Planet and it takes about 3 to 4 weeks to arrive.

If your www.partsoutlaw.com (http://www.partsoutlaw.com)
order is over $99 - ground residential shipping is free.
They take paypal.
I tossed in a couple of CVT nuts and clutch nuts, and badda-bing my order qualified for free shipping!

http://www.sloansfastandcheap.com/kymcooemparts.htm (http://www.sloansfastandcheap.com/kymcooemparts.htm) is where I bought a bunch of parts for my People 50.
I found the prices good, and they shipped within 9 days, with everything in stock. I can't compare them to anyone, as it was my first order. But I was happy with everything. I did ask that they send me a tracking number and they didn't send me anything.

Just looking at a few parts prices from your source ....you might want to look at partsoutlaw.com for your next order.

Will do..
Truthfully, I'm one of of those people who cares more about customer service than prices. Do a good job of packing my parts, and communicating with me, and I'll be a customer for life. Something go wrong?? As long as you're upfront and tell me what and when, and I'm again, happy.. :)

Lie to me, and you'll never see another dime from me and I'll be glad to tell other's why they should spend money elsewhere, too.  8)

I bought a new seat from Sloans and I see PartsOutlaw is 2 bux cheaper.. If Partsoutlaw if kind enough to send me a tracking number for the package, they'll have my next order.. I travel for a living and if a package is going to sit on my front porch for a day, I can have someone come by and grab it for me. I just need to know when it'll arrive. :)

Same here, people worry too much about pricing. Same can be said for gas prices, 2 cents cheaper here, a nickle there, a 14 gallon fill up will save you 70 cents at a nickle less a gallon.
