..well, I'd have to open my carb to do that, and I'm not really up to that at the moment..lol..
..however, there is a service manual that has what you're looking for...
..there's a link to it posted further down in this board...

how many miles on your scoot?

11000...but in service manual there isn't a detailed photo :(...
please do this photos XD...a question: is original needle jet regulable? my is not
-
franx, I'm a little confused as to what you are asking about. The needle jet and main jet are the same thing. The needle acts as the valve to the main jet. As you roll the throttle, you are pulling the needle up out of the jet; allowing more fuel to pass through it. Are you asking about the needle height?

needle jet and main jet are not the same thing!
this is an example of needle jet

...these are from the service manual..
..and there are more besides these..
..in the manual, everything is identified by name...
..section 5 pages 6-9...
..hope this helps, because i'm really not tearing down my carb to take any pics...
???

I've seen those before, just didn't really know what it was. You learn something new everyday!

..yeah, I actually did tear my carb down yesterday..(sorry franx, still no pics)..
..I drilled out my main jet, and also took a look at the needle jet..
..the needle jet's inside diameter is MUCH bigger than the main jet's..
:o

Slinger- Where did you get the drill bits? I looked when I was tuning my jets and all I could find was a $200 set! I just ordered every size! ;)
-
..Shaka, A dude here at work had some..just some bits in the "pen" type holder...don't think they could have been that much..
I'll ask him..
-
Franx- Is that needle jet also called an atomizer?

Franx- Is that needle jet also called an atomizer?
..from looking at it and knowing that the needle lets the fuel pass up through that jet, into the air flow...
..It certainly could be referred to as an atomizer, I would think..
:-\

no it isn't
-
I saw a blow-apart diagram of an Arreche carb and they had a similar looking piece called an atomizer. ???
