There are three settings for the back shocks. Would a lighter person want the higher or lowr setting? Dose this change the seat height?

the best way to find if 1 or 3 is for you ,. is put it on 1 ride it, than try #2, and see what is best for you, it turns easy when up on the center stand,. I can turn mine with my hand, do you have the little hook wrench that was in the tool kit, or get a strap wrench $5.oo at harbor freight

Are we talking about the GTi300? Mine has 5 rear shock preload settings. I'm about 190lbs geared up and I run them at the softest setting for as smooth of a ride as I can get. They rarely bottom out even on potholes. The softest setting is the one with the "deepest" groove, the firmest is the most shallow groove.

Yup 300i. Probably got confused about number of settings.

no it does not raise the seat level,. but if your heavy enough at one you could sink down a little, if not it gives a harder firm ride at the 2 to 5 numbers, stig can give you a better idea on that,. I only Wt. 220 dressed,.
