Title: Looked at a cobra 50 cc today.

looked at a nice cobra today its a 09 with 11000 km on it the guy was asking 1500 for it. seems a little high.Needs tires and front brakes. Was thinking a new one would be better at that price.

What! That seems way to high for a 50cc scoot. Heck the dealer sold my like for $1900. 2012 with little over 2000 miles. Look if you can find the blue book on it. Doesn't seem like a good deal. Remember, emotionally the seller thinks it's worth $1500. As the buyer you need to nicely prove him wrong. Tires and brakes, 11000km wouldn't give him more than $800. By the time you factor in the repairs get a new one with a warranty. Good luck.

Just got of he phone with him and he wont go now lower then 1200 I gave him a list of what it would pay in repairs and he said he will sleep on it. plus by the time I got theam fixed im sure there will be more to come so I told him never mine. Ill keep looking.

Heya blue, I dont know how far you are from Denver but theres a 09 cobra "racer" version for 700$.

That's a crazy number IMO got my 09 peoples 200 with 700 miles on it in 12' for $1,600.

Go to the Philippines blue, you can get a used Cobra (a.k.a. Top Boy) here for only $350.00.... and they have 100cc 2t stock engines here.... droooool!
