Title: 2009 500 lots of questions
Post by: hgw75 on February 09, 2014, 05:19:30 PM
How much better is a 2009 500,not abs, compared to 2007. Is the FI a lot better MPG,and less worries?
I am looking at a 2009,one owner,5000 miles,in great shape. He is asking $4200.00 I think that's high, only because the KBB is $3065.00, Any info would be thankful.

MPG not much difference. About same performance. Offer him KBB & see what he says? :-*

Price depends on the state. In California that bike would be worth about 3700.  If you can find one with ABS it's really worth having. It was only a $500 option but a potential life saver.

I have a 2009 ri no abs.  Fuel injection rocks.  The 2007 is great.

My first one was an '07. It had about 37,000 miles when I sold it with a rebuilt drive train. My '09 with fuel injection does run better and gets about 5 more miles to the gallon.
