This would not be street legal where I live.
The cops would pull you over and tell you to walk home. Maybe even send you to repeated (extraordinary) technical inspection.

..it's legal here, in North Carolina, as long as the lights are not red or blue...I originally had blue LEDs..did get pulled..

..the cop told me that I might be mistaken for an emergency vehicle...

..i had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing...

..yeah, I could just picture me whippin' in behind a car with my blue lights blazin' yelling "WHOOP-WHOOP!!!! YA'LL SLOW DOWN SO I CAN PULL YOU OVER!!"...

On weekends the local PO.PO ride in an electric sort of golfcart/future car type thing. I always pull up and ask if their ready to run for titles yet! One day I know their gonna have a tennis ball cannon installed for me.

that is so cool!  what'd you do? jumped off a hot wire ,installed a fuse link and stared stringing lights? And the paint looks cool too.  Custom? Your work , I guess. looks great. :-* Does it affect the electric sys. ?
