Title: change lock kymco quannon 125cc
Post by: loixman on January 31, 2014, 09:50:45 AM
Hello,

I have a kymco quannon made in 2007. I lost my key so i decided to buy a full lockset of the bike. When i tried to change the ignition lock i had 2 bolts with a circular pattern. I can't use a screwdriver. How do I remove the 2 bolts? you  can see the 2 bolts in the images.

thanks in advance,

If you can get a hacksaw in ther, cut a slot across the head of the bolt, then use a flat blade screwdriver to back it out. If there isn't room, you might be able to use a center punch and go around the circumference of the bolt head and back it out slowly. We use those two methods on ignitions at the lock shop where I do seasonal work. Not quick or fun, but it eventually works. Hope that helps.
