Title: Cold start
Post by: kai on January 28, 2014, 03:41:51 PM
So my Kymco don't rev when cold, and I have to turn the idel screw up high when cold to start.

I have tried a new choke this did not fix it

Think I have a 80 main jet everything standard

Could just be cold fuel physics . . scroll down to "Starting Circuit" on this page (http://www.viragoownersclub.org/Dr%20Piston/CV_carbs.htm).  Consider installing an enricher switch (http://scootdawg.proboards.com/post/544521/thread).

50cc scooters don't have the muscle to deal with cold, thick oil.  It's just the way it is.  Find a way to warm it up, or keep it indoors overnight.
