Title: Peakscooter Mitts versus Hippo hands

Which is better and why?

They have different strenghts.
You can use thin gloves under the mittens and still have a good feeling for all handle bar controls.
If the mittens fit the scooter! And have not been removed/stolen.
Hippo hands are multi-purpose. You may also use them on the Mt.Everest.

It's really a personal choice and what you'll be using it for, short Vs. long ride how cold etc. but I'm liking the Peekscooter stuff as I ride at temps well below freezing and the extra protection on the body looks good. The hippo hands looked a better quality.

Maybe it's just me but they both remind me of pot holders.  I suppose however that everyone is looking at the idiot riding in freezing temperatures and not how he (or she!) is keeping warm.
