Can't ride in the snow, so looking at scooters.
Scroll past all the blather on this auction and see a lot of pictures of a neat old Lambretta.

They may be vintage, but a few of scooter friends have told me the Lambrettas constantly break down. No thanks.

I've ridden a few times with some of the vintage groups around here. You can count on one stop for repairs. But because of this you could probably build a new bike from the parts they all carry. Cables, wiring, lights, plugs, bolts, you name it, they have it in bags and under seats.
Vintage is an old Indian word for "owner good with tools".
