Title: Indian VESPA
Post by: Stig / Major Tom on December 28, 2013, 01:21:46 AM
Reading this fellow's account detailing his purchase and year's ownership of a new Indian made Vespa 125.
I think Vespa began selling these in 2012.
There are some nice photos throughout his 9 page post of the sparkling new Vespa dealership in his town in India.
Had to smile at his raging over paying nearly $5 for a full servicing of his Vespa! And if my conversion calculations are correct, he paid less than $1300 for his new yellow Vespa LX 125.

These Indian made Vespas look to be well made!

My guess is in India where they earn maybe $1 per day on avg (in the slums) $5.00 is a lot of money.
