Going to look at two "lightly" used Kymco scooters. The People s250 and the Grand Vista 250. The main difference between the two seems to be the wheel size. I've had the 16" wheels on my People 150, and liked them, but have always liked the Grand Vista too. Got sidetracked over to motorcycles for a few years but am now back with a 2006 Bet and Win. I did a test ride on a Grand Vista about four years ago, and as I recall, I had an issue with the seat. It just didn't seem comfortable. Anyway, I'll be checking it out again in a couple of days. Would love to hear what you might think of these two scooters, pros and cons. Thanks.

I had the GV (Europe: Grand Dink) 250 before the Xciting 500.
12" wheels are a little bit shaky on the highway.
The seat is low.
Imho a very comfortable scoot for smaller persons or short errands.
I prefer the Xciting for touring.

I imagine the GV250 rides very similarly to a Bet and Win 250. I don't like the small 12" wheels on the highway too. I do like the handling of larger wheels on a bike with my B&W250's power.

Thanks for the replies. I'm trying to stay in the 350 weight range. My husband had the 250 Xciting, before he traded for a Silverwing, and it was heavier than I liked. There are pros and cons to the 16" wheels over the 12". Just have to ride both.

The GV 250 is definitely for a small person.
The small wheels don't bother me. The scooter gets more stable the faster you go.
My DH thinks different tires will improve the low speed buoy effect.
