This morning I noticed on my front tire a 2 inch hairline crack on the surface that meets the road. No gouges or marks, just a fine non-straight line. You have to use two fingers to be able to pull it apart to see it better. Looks to be about a 1/10 of an inch deep. Anyone else see this problem?
2009 Super 8 150 ridden since May 2009 regular with 2,000 miles on the odometer.

Still running on the tire now with 3,300 miles on it and no further cracks or change in this one. Dealer checked and said it was fine to drive on. Probably from an air bubble when mfg'd but didn't say it was a defect? Had another tire dealer check it and said same thing.

Ask those two fellas if they will put it on their own scooter, and give you a good tire. I've been over the bars before...NOT fun...

2 things you dont half ass on a motorcycle.
1) TIRES
2) Brakes.
Even more so being a scooter you can buy a top of the line Michelin for 40.00
And great tires for 30-35.00
